When people come to us, they have extraordinary needs that require special care. They may need rehabilitation services after they've had a serious injury or accident, suffered a stroke or developed complicated medical conditions. They may require intensive respiratory care. Or they may be children who have complex medical conditions or are dependent on technology.

At Hospital for Special Care we have a dedicated staff and innovative programs for those special needs - and more. Our Health and Fitness programs pay particular attention to the needs and desires of people with disabilities to participate in recreational and competitive sports. Our Aquatic Rehabilitation Center is fully accessible and features rehabilitative and fitness programs for people of all physical abilities

Our inpatient rehabilitation services include: Acquired Brain Injury Services, Pulmonary Rehabilitation Services, General Rehabilitation Services, Spinal Cord Services, Stroke Services, and Services for Medically Complex Patients

We specialize in caring for medically complex and/or technology-dependent children from infancy through age 18 in our 30-bed pediatric unit, designed for optimum socialization and monitoring.

Brittany Farms Health Center is a 284-bed skilled nursing facility dedicated to its residents' care and rehabilitation needs, and is a member of the Hospital for Special Care community.
