Acquired-Brain Injury (ABI) Rehabilitation Programs

For patients with traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries, HSC’s interdisciplinary care focuses on cognitive and physical rehabilitation through a comprehensive therapy program and individual and/or group treatment.

In addition to our ABI program, we also offer a Neurobehavioral Program for patients with Acquired-Brain Injuries (ABI) who have had ongoing behavioral problems that have interfered with successful community re-entry. The program consists of three secured units within the hospital and features highly-structured individual and group treatment programs, as well as community re-integration activities to enhance patient progress and quality of life.

What is CARF?

The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) has given HSC a prestigious three-year accreditation in the areas of Brain Injury Rehabilitation, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Outpatient Medical Rehabilitation, and Spinal Cord System of Care.
