Our subacute unit offers intensive rehabilitation that focuses on helping a person achieve the highest level of functioning as quickly as possible and return home - we rebuild lives.

Brittany's distinct subacute unit has a separate entrance, a state-of-the-art rehab gym, a dining room, and private and semi-private rooms. Subacute patients receive a complimentary daily newspaper, in-room telephones and cable television. The average length of stay is less than 20 days.

The unit specializes in rehabilitation for joint replacement surgery, stroke and complex medical rehabilitation. The unit's medical director is a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation. A case manager coordinates every patient's care and plans for discharge.
